More then 60 JUs, PMR and SPM State Consultancy Panel members attended the MBMMBI meeting chaired by Mr Shanmuganathan, Johor State Principal Assistant Director today. Although it was Ramadhan, everyone seemed to be in full spirits. Amongst the matters raised and discussed in the meeting were:
- all English programmes will now be under MBMMBI
- MAS module and other modules produced by the PPMP (Panel Perunding Mata Pelajaran) will be distributed to all schools in CD form. ( I need to resend the module my group produced "Speak With Confidence")
- All claims must reach JPN by the 8th of the month
- Lesson Study vrs Immersion- JPNJ would like to adopt this approach
- PPMP directory ready to be distributed to schools
- District English Panel- the need to coordinate activities in the state to prevent non-performing panels
- KSSR (Kurikulum Standard Sekolah Rendah) - training of JUs will be after Hari Raya and it is an on-site training approach
